Fred Willard & Some Guy Named Nick Stahl Arrested At Porno Theater In Hollywood

So Fred Willard (excellent actor from Best In Show among other Christopher Guest films) was arrested by some closeted or cowardly undercover police officer who hangs out at Adult Movie houses looking for perverts within one of the most dangerous cities in America.

No idea who Nick Stahl is (I guess he was on Batman or Terminator 3 or some other sci-fi movie I haven’t seen and won’t ever see). Curious if he’s related to Jerry Stahl, the subject and author of the book Permanent Midnight, who was a successful writer in the 80′s while coked to the gills on heroin.

It was at the Tiki Theater (pictured below) which has that really cool old aesthetic back when everything needed to have a theme. Nowadays everything just needs to look fancy or modern and people don’t rely on themes too much, unfortunately.

Apparently Fred Willard is 72 years old and arresting a senior citizen for jacking off (or maybe getting a BJ from some other dude, so what) is a little ridiculous if you ask me. They should give him a medal for still being able to wood-up at 72.

Even if Willard has a problem masturbating in public it’s not like he’s doing it at Universal Studios or The Grove on Fairfax but instead this place above. Again, so what? Don’t the police know that in this day and age when pornography is free and widely available in the comfort of your own home that’s what these places are for? To jack off in public or meet horny gay dudes who don’t have computers yet?

From the Yahoo article:

LAPD officers said they observed Willard “engaged in a lewd act” but did not elaborate. The unit is assigned to crack down on sex crimes (ah yes, crimes)  in the Hollywood area. Willard was told he could avoid a criminal trial if he completed a diversion program (read: pay some money to the police).

Here’s a video of him being interviewed about it on the Jimmy Fallon show. It’d be nice if cool young Hollywood Types like Jimmy Fallon pointed out how ludicrous this kind of stuff is rather than acting like some corporate shill who has to watch what he says in case one old moralist happens to be watching his show, which is unlikely because nobody watches his show.
